Updated: Jan 29, 2022

Each week in Creatives on Speed, Joanne Oatts talks to creative thinkers, makers and doers from all walks of life - about creativity and how they use it in their work.

This week: Philip Lawrence, TV Writer

Philip Lawrence is a television writer with credits on both Eastenders and Casualty - not to mention his numerous plays, a web series on Amazon, episodes of Doctor Who audio drama and many other award-winning scripts. Philip speaks about his own writer's journey, the transition from 'day job' to full-time TV writer, and what it takes to achieve your creative goals. He shares tips on storytelling, finding your voice as a writer and where he gets his inspiration. He also reveals what most surprised him when he first arrived on the set of Eastenders.
