Dan Parry, Co-Founder of Tectonic

Each week in Creatives on Speed, Joanne Oatts talks to creative thinkers, makers and doers from all walks of life - about creativity and how they use it in their work.

This week: Dan Parry, co-founder of customer insight start-up Tectonic.

Dan has brought a wide range of experience - from tech and IT roles, to creative and copywriting work - to building Tectonic. Working alongside his brother Nana, his company helps early-stage start-ups properly understand the needs of their consumers from the get-go.

We talk about how it takes resilience and self-awareness to be able to switch careers - and how that's perfect training for the start-up world. Dan also explains why he loves Twitter and why it's so important to find your 'niche'.

It's not just about the creative industries, though. We're fascinated by how the minds of all sorts of people work creatively - whether or not they have 'creative' in their title. If you'd like to be featured in Creatives on Speed, please contact us
