Whatever your opinion about John Cleese, you can't deny that he's a comedy icon. He's also a big 'creativity' icon, and has lectured extensively about the subject for many years - just search 'creativity' and 'John Cleese' on YouTube and you'll see what I mean.
But this is the classic 35m Video Arts speech from 1991. It's insightful and hilarious. Some of the jokes a little dated, but all of the advice about creativity is completely up to date.
